We are the founders of The Connected Therapist. It is our mission to provide therapists with affordable opportunities for learning, personal growth, self-care, and meaningful connections with other mental health professionals in order to build authentic and sustainable practices.
We’ve been close friends for 18 years, sharing the ups and downs of our lives and this work. After completing graduate school together, we have each spent 15 years practicing therapy in both the non-profit sector and in private practice. We deeply understand how isolating this field can feel at times.
That’s why we’re passionate about creating a connected community where therapists like you can find personal and professional support. Our goal is to help you not just sustain your practice but thrive—both as a therapist and as a whole person—while continuing to make a meaningful impact on others.
Need some inspiration, encouragement, business ideas, support, or resources delivered to your inbox? It is our mission to help you feel less alone in your practice and more supported in your life. We want therapists to thrive personally and professionally.
We are excited to offer you a community for learning, growth, consultation, and self-care with other mental health professionals to build authentic and sustainable practices that nurture the whole person behind the therapist.
Are you feeling isolated or in need of support in your journey as a clinician? Do you need affordable ways to continue growing professionally and personally? Maybe you miss the structure of supervision and feeling held and supported as you navigate difficult cases. Or, maybe you are struggling with burnout or fear that your compassion for clients is creeping into your personal life. Perhaps you’d love to start a private practice or grow an existing one to be more sustainable emotionally and financially.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your work with clients, this supportive and collaborative community is designed for clinicians passionate about experiential learning and growth. It offers opportunities for inspiration, case consultation, connection with other therapists, continuing education, networking, self-reflection, business development, and showing up for yourself in a meaningful way.
We believe that being a human and a therapist means that we are are always learning, always growing, and always needing opportunities to connect with others, to pay attention to our internal experience and process, and to fine tune our clinical skills.
We hope you will join us in building this community of connected therapists.
